Showers have come and gone, now we're waiting on Bentley!

I had my shower in NH Sept 12th, exactly a year (to the day!) after my bridal shower. We had a great turn out and it was so awesome to see everyone who came. Thanks to my mom for throwing it! Here are some pictures :)

Maternity pictures! And an overdue update.

Last weekend Ryan and I headed to Wilmington the the Davis'. We went to see all the different spots where they film One Tree Hill (only the best show, ever!) It was so awesome to see the places where all the actors actual go and be able to know what episode it was in and what they did there. While we were there we also shot some maternity pictures. I only have 3 right now because Jena is (as expected! fully pre-occupied with her hubby and baby boy.) So, here they are, enjoy!






I'm now 30 weeks pregnant, only about 10 weeks (69 days!) until my due date and only 7 weeks until Bentley is considered full term. I can't believe it has gone by this fast and I am only a few weeks away from meeting my baby boy and seeing his precious face. I can't wait to snuggle with him!

Tomorrow we head up to Delaware for the weekend to stay with my best friend at her families house. We love going to see them because it gets us out of Jacksonville for a bit and they are the closest thing to family that we have within a reasonable distance. Next Tuesday I fly to NH for about 2 weeks. While I'm there my mom is throwing us a baby shower (yay!!). Brittani (the bestie) and her parents will be driving up from DE for the weekend of the shower and driving me and all our baby furnitire back to DE where I'll stay for a few days then Britt and I will head down to NC again for my shower here. By the time I get back I'll only have about 6-7 weeks left until B-man gets here!

BOY!!! Ryan is soooo excited! I was...shocked. I really thought HE was a SHE! I cried for a little, horrible, I know. But now, I'm more then ok with it! I can't wait for November to get here so we can meet our little man. :)

And we are SO excited!!! We got a new house over on Midway Park (base housing). We move in Monday and it can't get here fast enough!

We went to the Dr's yesterday and the baby's heart beat was 152 and I was measuring at 18 weeks. I hated the dr I saw and will make sure I NEVER see him again! He was horrible.

Welcome home LCpl Badger!

Last Tuesday my best friend Brittani drove from DE here to us in NC. This is the third time she has come to visit us since we moved here..and I must say this was the happiest, most looked forward to visit we've had! Her boyfriend Rory left for Afghanistan back in October 2 days after Ryan and I moved here. I'm so glad I got to be here for her that day..here is a picture of him leaving. See the tear running down her face? It broke my heart.Fast forward 7 months to this past monday and...HE'S HOME!!! We went to bed about 9 Sunday night, she slept about 2 hours and I woke up at 4 (I was so excited for her to see him!) Watching her wait for him and seeing her finally reunited with her love was so awesome!

14 weeks!

And I felt the baby! It was awesome, I wasn't sure what it was at first but after explaining to a few people what I felt they said that it was the baby moving! Here is my 14 week pictures. Just and FYI, I'm sick of people telling me we're having twins..so if you're going to say it, just don't.

An overdue update!

Today I am 12w4d and my "morning sickness" is getting worse! I really hope it goes away soon, or at least isn't as bad. I was sick on Friday with a virus..no fun at all! I'm glad that is over with. Hubby went fishing on friday for work, they gave his platoon a choice of going on a battalion 9 mile hike, or go fishing. Of course, Ryan picked fishing! He had a good time and he and his friends want to go back next weeked. Here he is with the first fish of the day!
Here is his friend Gibbons with the only fish he caught! It was about 2 inches big.
We got our first ultra sound when I was 10w1d so it's been a few weeks, I've been horrible at updating this, sorry! Here is our little love bug:
We already love our baby SO much! And we really can't wait for November to get here! We find out what the baby is in June, it seems so far away right now! I can't wait to find out so we can start calling the baby by its appropriate name and not "it" and "the baby". And so I can give into my shopping addiction and start buying this little bean some cute clothes!

Here is my 12 week picture, it's starting to pop out now. I'm only 5'1" so I think I'm showing a little quicker because really, there's no place for it to go but out! I haven't gained any weight yet, I've actually lost 4 pounds! I think it's because I haven't been feeling well so I'm not eating as much as I used too, no worries though, little one is getting lots of food!

Here are a few pictures from Sarah's visit, we were headed downstairs for a St. Patty's day party which was tons of fun! Ryan left after about 45 minutes...he was the only boy besides baby Lucas, I think he felt out of place.



You can see a little bump in my belly, I don't think its baby though. I have actually lost a few pounds and my pants are huge, so I don't know whats going on, maybe it is baby?

This is just under 5 weeks, I think.

We're really excited because my referral finally went through (to the Naval Hospital, which I didn't want, but I'm ok with it now). Our first appointment is April 8th! We're excited to get an ultra sound and see our little peanut. Ryan is extra excited because he gets to miss work (and pt!). I'll be sure to put up the u/s pictures as soon as we get them on the computer.

Quick update

Today I am 7 weeks pregnant, the baby is the size of a blue berry. The baby's brain is developing very quickly this week! I'm still trying to get through to the Naval Hospital about getting in for an appointment. Hopefully I can get through soon!

This week my friend Sarah (from NH, we worked together at East Side) is visiting. It's making me miss home and work a lot! We've been telling funny stories about the kids and remember good quotes they said to us. She leaves friday and our next visitors are coming in April! My friend Lucie who's husband was in boot camp with Ryan is coming to visit. She has a beautiful little girl named Maddie, she'll be a year in July and Lucie is due with their second, a little boy! Her husband is deployed right now so she is trying to do things that are time consuming and will keep her mind off of it. Hopefully Brittani will make it back while Lucie is here, we haven't all been together since last June at her baby shower.

We're off to a St. Patty's day party, all in green! We look pretty cute :)

Big News!

Ryan and I have been married for 5 months on the 17th. March 1st we found out that we are expecting a new member to our little family! Baby Ingalls will come late October/early November. We have an appointment tomorrow to get the pregnancy confirmed and are hoping that the referral will go through quickly so we can get into an OB and find out how far along I am and when the baby is due. We've already made the decision that we are not finding out the sex of the baby and are very excited to keep it a surprise!




My little sister Mariah and best friend Brittani came to visit for a week. Mariah was on school vacation and wanted to come visit, so we begged mom and dad to let her come. Brittani's boyfriend Rory, who is also a Marine, is deployed right now and coming home very shortly! She wanted to get a jump start on making her homecoming signs because she is very busy between now and homecoming. We had tons of fun it and it was so sad when they both left. We can't wait for more family to come visit us!
